Never will I get tired of watching this extravaganza on my chocolate skies!

 

It’s the fireworks season again and you bet we would be there! There is something romantic about them that is so hard to resist. I and enjoyed it so much last year, that we made sure to watch it for the next years to come.

 

It’s UK vs Spain last night. I had fun as usual. First off, I love the atmosphere. It’s filled with childlike anticipation. Next the crowd: from babies, to toddlers, to young couples, to lolos and lolas, all are gathered, bonding and expecting to be wowed by these lights that dances with music. And then of course the fireworks. These are no ordinary, amateurish fireworks, mind you. These are best from every country that’s participating. So imagine the grandiose.

 

So yes, sometime last night I found my mouth hanging open again for more than 5 seconds [stars and fireworks have that effect on me] when I realized that I need to take pictures to send to you. Pardon that shot [again], you know I’m too lazy to set up my own tripod [and I really like the “sabog” look heehee].

 

Who gets my vote last night? Well Spain gave me that shot. And well, “We Are The World” had me. Sheeesh.

Nights are getting stickier. Can’t help but remember my night at the Maquinit Hot Springs. It had been perfect. The reflection of the full moon over the water was just poetic. I can stare at it forever.

Temperatures’ shooting up, and I can’t can’t get my mind off white sands and sea stars! I can even hear waves crashing while I take my siesta. I hope to see Coron again soon. I miss that starfish and the sunset.

Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin, Camiguin

We finally checked in here at BBC. It's beautiful, like what their site promised. It's quiet, peaceful, and I love it. Most of all, the people are super nice.

 

I love Camiguin, the sites and view may not be that spectacular, but the weather, the serenity and most of all, the people made it beautiful.

 

White Island, Camiguin

Whenever Camiguin is mentioned, the White Island comes to mind first and foremost. Like Batanes, I have vivid dreams about this island. So imagine my excitement when the day of our White Island tour finally arrived. However, it has been raining on and off Camiguin for the past days and this day, the skies looked gloomy. But then again, White Island now or never. After 15 minutes, we finally got there. It's chilly, not exactly the perfect weather for frolicking in the white sands like I imagined since I was younger. The picture above is the rain heading towards our direction. A few minutes after scrambling to hide our cameras, the rain finally passed by us. Having nothing to shield ourselves from, we have no choice but endure the battering of wicked raindrops (with sands) and cold winds. It took a good 5 minutes or so before the rain finally left us.

 

Ok, so not exactly my dreams about this famous sandbar coming true, but heck, it has been fun/crazy memorable.
